Our temporary cold rooms travel between sites throughout the year. Sunlight, weather and regular transportation can leave some exterior panels less bright or with signs of use.
Inside, your room is clean and ready for your goods. Our priority is a reliable, working cold room that provides the storage you need.
If your cold room will be on display at a special event, please mention this in your request. We’ll do our best to select our cleanest exterior panels for your installation.

Can a cold room be installed with restricted access?
Our modular rooms arrive flat-packed and are built on site. Tell us about doorways, steps and access routes so we can assess the installation.
Can you supply racking with my cold room?
Yes. Racking is available on request and is optional. It helps you use the room’s height, organise stock and keep items accessible and off the floor. Select “Add racking” when creating your project, and tell us about any particular storage or layout requirements. Explore the benefits of racking.
What size do I need?
That depends on what you’re storing, the volume and how you need to move around the room. Use the selector as a starting point, then speak to us about the best layout.
What should I check before delivery?
We’ll need to confirm the footprint, suitable ground, access and the required electrical supply. Allow space around external refrigeration equipment for airflow and servicing. See our pre-installation checklist →
Do you deliver and collect?
Yes. VCS provides delivery, on-site installation, dismantling and collection across the UK. Timing and costs are agreed in your quote.
Can I hire both a walk-in fridge and a freezer?
Yes. We supply walk-in fridges and freezers. Tell us what you need to store so we can confirm the suitable equipment.
